Didn’t know about this local spot-what a gem! Had a lovely lunch with the kiddos. Caprese and Reuben sandwiches were delicious!

Driving up I-91 and needed a place for lunch. This was a mile or so off the highway but well worth the trip. Caprese panini was well made and the lentil soup was exceptional. Dining room looked newly remodeled and was very clean and comfortable.

As a child my mom always made me caprese sandwiches for lunch. I have tried many sandwiches in the upper valley but none have the same taste as my mom’s sandwich. Finally I found the caprese at Red Clover and it brought so many great memories back, it even tasted like my mom’s cooking.

The food here is excellent. This is by far my favorite place to eat lunch in the upper valley. There is no sandwich that I wouldn’t recommend. The cookies are simply phenomenal. The balance of warm crunchy walnuts and gooey chocolaty chips reminds me of my grandmother’s cookies. Not coming here is simply missing out on an excellent once of a lifetime experience.

The owners were kind enough to stay open late to serve us, as my husband, children and I pulled up right at closing time. Lucky us - the ice cream was delicious! We recommend the salted caramel, you won’t be disappointed!
